Experience Weightlessness 245 feet in the air with our ultimate adrenaline-pumping blast!
If you dare, you'll be strapped into the Giant 3G Swing, hoisted 50ft up into the air and slowly pulled back to the release point... Then it is down to one of you to pull the ripcord!
After the initial terrifying drop, you'll launch into the air, feeling the G-force as you swing up into the sky, 245ft over the steep quarry edges of the UK’s Deepest Inland Dive Site.

You will continue to swing several times until our experienced staff bring you to a halt and carefully lower you down to the ground.

All freediving at the National Diving and Activity Centre is through SaltFree Divers a group of freedivers united by a love for plunging into the depths of our deep, green and unashamedly beautiful flooded quarry near Chepstow.
SaltFree are the largest freedive group in the UK, run by Samphire Amps, former UK Team Captain and AIDA Freedive Instructor Trainer. A few times a year The National Diving and Activity Centre and UK Bungee host a special extra high 400ft Crane Bungee jump over the waters of our Quarry.
As you are raised up to the top of a 300ft crane over a 100ft quarry you will realise the magnitude of what you are about to undertake! This is a truly unique jump falling 400ft and disappearing into a quarry.
When you arrive you register and complete a membership form. You are then weighed and allocated the appropriate jump chord before entering the jump site. Here you are harnessed by UK Bungee’s professional jump crew where a number of double checks take place of your weight, jump chord selection and waist harness. Once in the hot seat with your ankle harnesses fitted you will be passed to the jumpmaster who will double check everything again before taking you up in the jump cage and talking you through your jump.
Once at the top you will hear the famous countdown “3, 2, 1, bungee” and then……..it’s up to you!
